Would agree with this. Beginning to feel fairly confident that we should avoid the drop.
Two home games to come , must look forward to more points.
Well done to Mel. Soon to be planning for next season?

Apart from Clifton and Thomas it’s basically the same side who couldn’t buy a win for two months. Suddenly injuries aren’t the same problem and we’ve benefitted a bit there. Having Fernandez playing a string of consecutive games has been a big plus. Players like Wishart, Whittingham, Kurran-Browne, Dunne and Deadfield have started to show what they are capable of. And tactically Mel has used his squad well both within the game and in rotating for the needs of the opposition at hand.

Couldn't go today due to illness but that is a great result. Really looking like safety is within our grasp now. Like others have said, it's good use of tactics, a bit of confidence and good use of a squad. Starting to get the feeling that next season could be quite exciting...

Several players have improved dramatically in recent games, injuries seem less , thought and planning are the way forward and Mel seems more tactical in his approach to changes during the game.
Think some players have shown us (and Mel) what they are capable of and might have come off the release list.
Could be an exciting summer!

Agree with comments on improvement but also under Mel we play to win whereas too often previously it looked like we were playing not to lose.

Quite a lot of comments on Mel’s appointment as to his experience at this level. He has been around in football at a higher level and so has acquired knowledge and experience that someone like Gary did not have.
The key now is his recruitment performance. Much will depend on his budget, but I would expect the new owners will give him one that is competitive. Time will tell.
