Braintree Home on Saturday. They are 5th on 26 points. Won 4.1 at Home to Welling last night. But have played 14 games. Another 1.0 win for the Beaves Imo.

Only on goal difference, looks like it could be their attack against our defence!

Attacking line up, please. Let’s capitalise on our momentum and get 3 points!

1.0 to Braintree. Scored with a Hampton player laying injured. Braintree look a very tough side. Half time now still 1.0 Braintree.

Lost 3.0 We looked worn out. Start The Club Car Mr Barbel lets get out of here. Braintree a tough team will be in the playoffs.

Not a 0-3 by any means, but Braintree much better on the day. Very hard team to break down. We also look knackered, busy fixtures suddenly caught up with us with Shokunbi and Miller-Rodney off injured, Donaldson potentially knocked too and a few others not looking comfortable. Rotation will be crucial in the next few weeks to keep the team fresh as possible. Onto St Albans

Sad to say we didn’t pass the test today losing 3-0, although the score line flatteredBraintree a little. Braintree were strong and very direct and we found it hard to break them down, only registering our first shot on target some time into the second half. We had much more possession in the second period but rarely translated it into clear chances. Wood and Babalola struggled all game and not for the first time this season. Manager will want to see better and may need to look elsewhere if they cannot lead the line in the way the team needs. Two late goals sealed Braintree the points. Mid table is where we are at it would seem.

Much as I think Wood is a good player we don't really seem to have successfully paired him with anyone and as a result the ball constantly pings back from where other forward lines can hold it up. This just puts the defence and midfield under more pressure.
Braintree are pretty good though, much improved from last year although 3-0.probably was a tad flatterring.
