But to the best of my knowledge no NL club has wracked up 115 FFP charges and carried on spending without seemingly batting an eyelid!

I believe he was appointed on a three-year contract so someone clearly made a very big mistake. (I expect Walton to blame the council. They normally do!).

Plus a suspended 6 point deduction to cover the season if they fail to comply with other league demands.
They're not exactly going to be match fit this Saturday are they, but playing Walton probably couldn't have been a better start for them.
