That's very good. I seem to remember the word "thrashing" was prominent there. It is rather a long way to go to endure a result like last season's opener.

I couldn't help it.... I've looked it up and Basil has this to say: "Come on! Oh, my God! I'm warning you, if you don't start, I'll count to three! One... two... three - right! That's it! I've had enough! You've tried it on just once too often! Right! Well, don't say I hadn't warned you! God forbid AD has to use similar words in the dressing room at half time on Saturday.

Anyway, the Gulls are only mid-table, have scored two fewer than Hampton and, who knows, come 5 o'clock on Saturday HRBFC could be above them in the table...?
As for Maidstone, they've only scored three more than....
OK, it will be a tough weekend, no doubt, but do not despair, all shall be well. We hope.
