Certainly a tough one. It will be interesting to see how our Wassmer less defence deals with the Prior/Rutherford threat. After recent results perhaps a draw would be a good result?

A draw would be a decent result given where we have been in the league recently.

2-1 down at HT.
Donaldson gave us the lead , but what looked like a needless penalty given away, and a second goal, which was adjudged to have gone over the line.
We look good going forward, and are causing the DW defence problems, including hitting the bar.
The Wanderers players seem to have problems with their boots as the fall over at every opportunity.

Lost 2.1. Bit cold for me and the club car. So stayed home and listened to a very good commentary. Sounded a good game and we gave 100%.

Yes, it was a home defeat, but we did well to be still competing near the end, against what is clearly a very good side. Dorking are fast, quick in thought and very physically strong.
Having said that, my goodness I'm glad I don't have to watch that whining, falling over gamesmanship led by the manager with the spray on trousers every week.

We gave it a good go but Dorking we’re that bit stronger all round. After an early goal from Donaldson, Dorking applied the pressure and could have had a few but for wayward finishing. Their equaliser when it came was a hotly disputed penalty, looking like a dive or a bit of naivety from Hamblin who had a difficult afternoon. The winner was also a bit soft, Dorking had much better chances they did not take. Second half was more even or perhaps less clear cut chances for Dorking. We looked more likely to score towards the end and came close on a couple of occasions but couldn’t quite get the equaliser. Keeping hold of the ball still a problem but spirit was there and with a bit more composure we could have come away with a point.

Would agree with some of these comments we tried very hard against a team that much more experienced, physically stronger and well in form Agree the penalty was a bit soft and was got by experience.
Gary said he wants a couple of additions, think most folk would agree. Central defence stuck to their task well as Prior and Rutherford are a handful, perhaps we need a Wassmer type player and someone to hold the ball up front.
Encouraging signs but we are not a playoff team at present.

As you say Tony, Dorking had plenty of more clear cut chances, than the two they took in the first half, and could have scored four or five, although we may have even go into half time level, after we hit the bar.

We just about edge the second half, possession wise, but despite going close on a couple of occasions couldn't find a way through.
We defended well when we had too, but we have to learn not to give the ball away so much.
Onto the next one.

Why did we wear last season’s kit again?
