I understand the appeal, it's great money for players. But for a manager trying to build a competitive squad in Step Two football it must be deeply frustrating. It's a sideshow though, nothing more - for players who are ostensibly looking to move back into League football, I can't imagine it's a great look for scouts etc. from the professional game. Especially when we had situations last season where players were playing Saturday afternoon matches for us, and then Saturday evening Baller League matches.
I agree must be very frustrating but it should be made clear by the manager that if you join this club you can’t go etc.
Cos clearly Jules doesn’t mind because like you said we had similar situations last seasons

That was definitely an attempt to keep Vilhete, because we couldn't offer anything at the time, maybe Jules thought by giving him some more freedom then he might want to stay, and luckily the season was all but dead at that point. But after losing 8-2 to Farnborough, you DO NOT go and play Baller League in the evening.
I noticed that he had the #17 shirt against Slough, and when I checked the squad page I saw that Jalloh is no longer on the website. I assume Jalloh has been released, but haven't seen him pop up anywhere yet.
Alan Julian said at the time it was the fifth time Jalloh had the same injury so clearly a more underlying issue that needed addressing. Presumably not a contracted player so makes sense to release him until he can prove long term fitness.
