Ah yes, should have said it was Hastings' last home game, which was 0-0.

Seemed to score his 18 league goals across 15 games which is what you want, a regular scorer not someone who scores in clusters. 18 for a relegated team is impressive. Wonder what went wrong they finished 7th the season before when he got 28 league goals.

Defender Harry Thomas, who was a graduate of the Peterborough United Academy, and played 42 times for Poole Town, last season.

Not a huge amount of information out there about him. Poole just about avoided relegation last season. He doesn't turn 20 until July. Kris Campbell went to Poole after he left us so maybe some local intel there. Some supporters seems unhappy he is leaving them. So far we seem to be following last year's pattern of signing younger players from lower leagues so we could really do with some solidly experienced Level 2 players coming on board.
I think he is 21. According to his profile on the Poole website his DOB is May 2004.Tony wrote: Wed Jun 04, 2025 3:02 pm Not a huge amount of information out there about him. Another new signing to be announced later...my young assistant thinks this might be Chertsey captain Luke Robertson. Let's await any confirmation...
Also might be losing one, a Hemel teaser video on their Instagram strikes a resemblance to Jake.Lord Elpus wrote: Thu Jun 05, 2025 8:51 am Another new signing to be announced later...my young assistant thinks this might be Chertsey captain Luke Robertson. Let's await any confirmation...

Sorry to lose Jake who has been a great servant to the club. Suspect we will lose a couple of the other players we might have wanted to retain, like Roberts and Revan (although his end of season injury won't help him in the transfer market). I think we would have expected announcements by now if they were going to stay.

That's a shame. Jake has been a terrific player for us but his departure could mean that others of his calibre aren't going to return either. In some ways I don't blame him...being left out for so long last season must have led to frustration for him, as it did for us supporters, but from our point of view he's also had his injuries over the last couple of seasons and you suspect he doesn't come that cheap. Whatever the circumstances, all the best Jake.
