Another tougher fixture, but as Gary has said there are very few easy games in this league.

Depending on injuries, it might be that Jake McKnight might start instead of Miller Rodney who looks to have done his ankle again. Would be surprised if Fisher or Inman start as they might need a little longer to get match fit?

Hope for a good result.

Great game, score could have been anything. Conceded from 3 corners. We were brilliant going forward especially in the first half great movement and passing by Gray and Deadfield and Gondoh outstanding. Missed very good chances but Julian pulled off plenty of great saves. Obviously needing a holding midfielder and Sam Cox struggled all game down the right. Plenty for the manager to think about both positive and negative.

Couldn't be there today, so was the new loanee from Aldershot? He wasn't mentioned that much on the twitter feed, although having to slot straight in without ever having met your team mates can't have been easy...

Harris did fine without being outstanding, rarely lost the ball and should be a useful addition although we have no league game next Saturday. Gary’s post match comments sum up what was a wasted opportunity with good attacking play sacrificed on some dreadful defending against crosses. He was certainly pointing fingers at one or two players today so changes may be afoot. I heard that Uche has been recalled so may see him fill in at right back now that Cox will be suspended. Dulwich spotted the aerial weakness and exploited it to the max, but we should have been smarter by not conceding needless fouls around the penalty area which gave them the opportunity to load the box. Cox’s sending off was as stupid as it was needless - plenty of time to just clear the ball, instead he tried to dribble out of the box, lost control and lunged in to retrieve the ball. We went into panic setting when we could just have defended in depth to keep the point safe.

Muir did well today and I hope he finds his enthusiasm for the game again as he seemed out of sorts pre season. We probably need another specialist centre back, which could be Uche but right back is also a problem area. Whatever happened to Cole Brown, seems to have disappeared off the radar completely?

Just listed to Gary’s comments.. who is the player he is criticising , Kieron Farrell?? He is a top player but maybe at fault from set pieces?

Did not make the game today and likewise heard Gary’s comments. It looks like Wassmer is not fit and needs a rest? We are playing players out of position I assume Cox and Farrell? Hopefully we will get Inman back and as Tony commented, Imran should give us the height in the defence.
Of others missing, we have heard nothing of Ruddick , is he still injured ? Brown likewise is still unfit although I am yet to be convinced he is a C South right back.
Would see us trying to recruit defenders because as Gary said, if you cannot defend set plays then you will not win enough at this level.
Glad to read Muir is getting better and Harris had a good debut especially as he had no time to be integrated into the squad.
A couple of weeks break might give us the breathing space we need.

Jayden Harris is a product of the Fulham Academy who joined Aldershot in the summer on a 2 year deal.

This is a great squad and coaching team that we have at the moment.

I think all we have to do is practice defending corners and maybe make substitutions earlier and we can be in the playoffs at least no problem.

Fabulous seeing 3,000 crowd.

There was a significant difference in size between the two teams yesterday and it cost us. If ever Inman was needed it was yesterday. Playing Ulche instead of Cox would have been an option. I agree the management team and the first 11 is probably the best I’ve seen since I’ve been following for about 12yrs.

Would agree about the difference in sizes. It has been noticeable in recent seasons. It might be the way Football is going as further up the pyramid , players especially in certain positions, seem to be bigger/taller. There will always be exceptions to this theory of course, but within the population average heights are increasing over the years.
