Could well have been 4 or 5 and it wouldn't have flattered them.
Although more of a game in the second half, we were well beaten today. Against a quick-passing side like Ebbsfleet you can either drop deep and close down the spaces and hit on the break, or play a high pressing game. We seemed caught between the two and consequently Ebbsfleet were able to get in behind us on a regular basis, particularly down our left side. As said already, four or five goals by halftime would not have been undeserved. Had Fisher taken his early chance things may have been different but equally Ebbsfleet still had plenty of threat. Well beaten in the end.

Sunday morning and it still feels like that was a very frustrating game indeed. Yes they have a quick passing game but their defence is average and beatable.
One positive from Saturday...the Woking result.

It's completely academic now of course but has Uche left or is he still on loan? We could have done with his presence on Saturday...
Terrific draw for Harrow though.
Yeah Imran is on loan. Not sure on the exact duration though.Lord Elpus wrote: ↑Mon Oct 18, 2021 11:54 amIt's completely academic now of course but has Uche left or is he still on loan? We could have done with his presence on Saturday...

Just watched the game again on Ebbsfleet you tube. It does not get any better.

It's not a loan, it's dual registration. It's a different league.
