Not sure if there's been much if a splash about this on here or anywhere else yet, unless I've missed it of course, but Tony and Les's History of Hampton Volume 2 book is available and a really good read it is too, covering the last 20 years. Got mine via Amazon.
I'm getting older I guess but 20 years ago seems like yesterday...

Thanks Nick. The official publicity launch was meant to be this week but for some reason the club didn’t follow through. Hence Les and I were waiting to “ go public” alongside the Club social media but you are correct the book is now available through Amazon, priced £14. Search under The History of Hampton & Richmond Borough FC Vol 2: 2002-21. Hope it brings back some fond memories and not too many nightmares! Despite the ups and downs, the last 20 years have been some of the most eventful in the club’s history.

Will the book be on sale in the club shop?

No, only through Amazon at the moment.

Sounds a good book. I will wait till it appears in The Club shop for £15. Amazon not having my money. If you keep buying from Amazon online there will be no shops left in the high street.

You may have to wait a long time then. Books are printed to order so unless the club shop want to buy them at full price and sell them at a loss, or indeed sell them at a profit, then Amazon is the only route.

I would not think the club would be willing to buy books and sell them at a loss.
They might buy them and sell at a profit as there might be many supporters who don’t have an Amazon account. With Christmas coming a small stock available in the shop might be attractive. Don’t think many folk would begrudge the club making a small profit?

It's not something that I'm entirely comfortable with, but if there was enough take up what would be an acceptable mark-up price be?

I bought it from the club shop at the Chelmsford game

Oh it's £14 not £15!

No, it was bought for you by Chris off of Amazon, we're not stocking it in the shop.
