Two teams with something to aim for with the season fast running down. The visitors, Worthing, had their eyes on the title, whilst Hampton were looking to maintain their position amongst the promotion places. As it happened Worthing gained some measure of revenge for Hampton taking the points earlier in the season at Woodside Road. Hampton had a Morley goal disallowed in the 12th minute, whilst Paul Rogers had a shot blocked, 0-0 at the half. The second half had hardly got under way before Hampton took the lead, Inns won possession, Omonua allowed the ball to run to Kelly who laid the ball off to Allen who swivelled and volleyed over Will Packham. On the hour Worthing levelled when Sam Francis fired past Blake. Thirteen minutes later came the winner with what appeared to be an offside goal but Stewart Holmes’s strike was allowed to stand. A week later the season ended with both teams gaining promotion to the re-vamped Ryman League Premier Division.
