Re: Five years ago this week - Oldham in the FA Cup

I was helping at the turnstiles, people were entering the ground right up until our penalty and goal. The ticket of the very last chap to enter the ground just wouldn't scan or had already been scanned and it was turning into a problem. We heard the cheer for Hampton being awarded a penalty and actu...

Re: Maidstone home on Saturday.

Won’t be long till the council put a stop to that, there is a reason there never use to be music pre and post game Disagree. In previous years the club were ridiculously cautious over groans from a few of our serial complainer neighbours (one of them in particular). As a council owned sporting venu...

Indeed. This error on the part of Southwestern Railway is subject to various ongoing complaints and procedures and will hopefully be corrected in the medium term. The Middlesex Federation are not happy about it!

Re: FA Trophy 23-24

I did try and Google Cray Valley FC to find information on this other team (out of curiosity, as I had never heard of them!) but I could only find info on Cray Valley Paper Mills in the results. Are you sure there is another team, MK?

Re: New Supporters Trust elections

To be honest I read the email in the same way as Jamie, it is ambiguously worded and could be taken either way. In all fairness it probably does mean they are standing down and considering putting themselves forward in the same way as everyone else, but given recent history people will be suspicious...

Re: Website x 2

I hope this is being recorded, as after the years of work the likes of Les, Chris, others and those before them, it would be a real shame if the record keeping doesn't continue. The Old Historian is very much still recording all of the stats, as am I. Stuart Moore is also doing this for the program...

Segregating Woking seemed a bit much.

I believe Torquay United during the same season was also segregated?

Re: FA Cup

HM stick to football not cricket as this is a football messageboard. Oh by the way you didn't tap me on the shoulder when Sunbury first eleven won the Surrey championship at Guildford and the Saturday before last. Also their fourth and fifth elevens were champions as well!!! MK The pivot from your ...
