Re: Torquay Home Saturday

If this run continues - will we be able to hold on to Mel? I expect clubs in the league above maybe monitoring our amazing turnaround? Is that a serious comment? First managerial role, and would need more longevity to be top of lists for an appointment further up. Fair play to him though, 5 games a...

Assuming they are accurate attendances, as a lot of comments on Twitter suggesting perhaps the figures are being exagerrated.

Re: New Supporters Trust elections

That’s the point. They may not stand. I thought your criticism was about them staying on without facing an election? I guess they will see who if anyone puts their name forward and then decide. If they all stepped down and no one came forward then that would be the end of the Trust so I guess they ...

Re: New Supporters Trust elections

Jamie, the email from the Trust says that the existing Trust directors may consider standing for re- election. That suggests that they will be subject to the same election process as any other candidate if they decide to stand. So effectively they are retiring. "may consider" is certainly...

Re: Jerry Ferrario

I think "owner" is used a little loosely in the sense of shareholder in Ramayana. They have a couple of corporate vehicle shareholders so may be sitting behind one of those. I am an owner of the club in the sense I own 100 shares in Hampton & Richmond Borough FC Ltd. Agreed. PR wording.

Re: New Supporters Trust elections

The Trust was never in a position to run the club independently without finding substantial financial support from elsewhere even if the club had dropped down a few divisions. The Trust never actively looked to get financial support from elsewhere. This is the entire problem. The club could have be...

Re: New Supporters Trust elections

Speaking personally I let my Trust membership lapse during the covid season's but have signed up again as from last night. I didn't, and still don't, agree with the decision of handing over the shareholding but as I wasn't a Trust member had no say in the process. However it's, arguably, more impor...

Re: News of former players

Dean Wells whilst playing for HRBFC used to play in goal for a Sunday team, against our Hampton Badgers team that was formed after we became to old to play for the clubs u18's. Although playing in goal he would often venture forward and take attacking set pieces for his team. What a player he was fo...
