Re: Squad numbers
I assumed it was for Covid reasons, so that each player could keep the same kit all season. And yes, Jamie, the squad numbers were the same throughout the season. As Covid is still very much around, it would seem sensible to continue with squad numbers this coming season.

Re: Squad for 21/22 Season.
I personally would have a fit Farrell over Casey..stronger, better left foot and can head a ball.. also Casey whinging and rolling around is embarrassing Totally agree. Farrell has a better right foot as well, though, come to think of it, I never saw Casey attempt to kick the ball with his right fo...

Re: Rest of the season?
He is going at the end of the season. Clearly would be useful to have on the board if both parties were interested but timing may be an issue. Leaving under something of a cloud I would say. We seem to have an exceptional club spirit at the moment and the work being done by our excellent board is a...

Re: Podcast?
What a great listen this was! A very professional production which was articulate, entertaining and informative. And it also brought home what players and back-room staff (and Covid officers!) have had to go through to bring us such great entertainment on the pitch this season. Well done, Seb, for b...

Re: Centenary celebrations.
I'd love to see the club take the opportunity to change the name back to the plain old Hampton FC. Never liked the clumsy "and Richmond Borough" suffix. Personally, I think it would be a retrograde step to revert back to Hampton FC. Apart from some Spartan League wins in the 60s, nearly a...

Re: Centenary celebrations.
Great idea, Shep, but why stop at the 60s. You and I (and Shirley, of course) could probably come up with one from the 50s.Shepperton Supporter wrote: ↑Mon Jan 25, 2021 2:21 pm One thought for supporters at this current time, is to put forward our team of each decade, starting from the 60s .

Forum name
Very pleased that the new forum name reflects more accurately the name of our ground and we've lost the upstart 'The' before Beveree so newcomers have less excuse for getting the name wrong. Suspect I might be swimming against the tide with that one, though. And yes, I do realise that names change o...
