I thought the centenary book was to cover the 100 years, wouldn't that be a better seller? Especially for the wider football audience? could also add things in that maybe didn't make it in to the previous book?

Re: Middlesex Senior Cup??
https://www.hamptonfc.net/teams/110868/match-centre/0-4987139 It’s happening. Surely we won't be playing a 1st team as those that haven't left are surely furloughed so wouldn't be able to play unless we want to pay them again. Might stick the Academy out? At moment in time, I’m not sure which but i...

Re: News of former players
I thought it was the same Dwight Marshall. Which makes it even stranger his name is never mentioned when talking about Hampton success stories.

Dwight Marshall.
The one that played for Hampton in thr 80s. Is it the same player who in the 90s played league football for Luton and Plymouth?

Re: Middlesex Senior Cup??
Back to the title of the thread. Next round has been announced and drawn. (I think it's farcical that in a null and void season this is going ahead, but anyhow) Hampton Vs Spelthorne Sports matches to be played w/c 12th April. It was actually listed as "Hampton" so not sure if the club has...

Re: Middlesex Senior Cup??
I don't think they were as well known then! Who? The players weren't that well known then? That is my exact point!!! Supporters get to see stars of the future. social media posts... "last time we played Spurs XI" with pictures of England internationals. I'm actually gobsmacked people don'...

Re: Middlesex Senior Cup??
I think we are approaching the likes of Brentford and Fulham regarding our centenary celebrations. You have to be realistic that the gulf between us and these clubs is huge compared to a few seasons ago and they are not going to risk fielding their top players against a Step 6 side. It would be rat...

Re: Middlesex Senior Cup??
I agree 100% about the prospect of Premier League / Football League clubs helping out the non-league fraternity in the coming pre-season. It's not like those Clubs will be able to embark on there worthless tours of the USA and far-east, after all. Let's hope for some BIG PSFs at the Beveree with so...

wouldn't it be good to include these in Tony and Les' updated version of the club history book?

Re: Rest of the season?
Great idea! The remaining clubs should all say they are willing to play, just to make the notion even more ridiculous.
Could even just sign up supporters to play. Even get them to pay to play to raise money.

Re: Niko Muir
I don't get the constant "old friend" Dowse scenario and everyone being so happy to help him out. McCann scouting for him? Why! Dowse was moaning the other week about the financial problems Woking have with having to complete the season, saying he may have to do another sponsored walk. The...
