Having watched the highlights they gave Maidstone a hard game and the visitors were hanging on at the end. Be warned Hampton!

Re: Worthing Away O1/04/2034
On reflection on this game, Worthing have around five strikers in their squad all of whom are of Conference South standard which is in contrast to our squad. Their defence needed strengthening so they took a central defender from Tonbridge to address this problem. Perhaps we need to bear this in min...

Re: Taunton here on Saturday.
Knowing Mel he does not risk players who have a slight injury concern. Given that Dreyer was omitted against Worthing and Fernandez came off in that game both might be in doubt, we will wait and see.
Three points is essential in this game as has been mentioned already.

Taunton here on Saturday.
The first of three home games in a week.Taunton are next up, their recent form puts them bottom of the chart with six straight losses . As for the result, a win is essential and should be achievable. Depends what team we field, hopefully Seymour is available but if there is a slight doubt then he mi...

Re: Those Were The Days; 3rd April 1961
Having had a few minutes to look at my records Andy Steven 1 appearance 65/65, 1 appearance 65/66, 0 in 66/67, 9 appearance 67/68. In 68/69 he was replaced by Andy Welstead as reserve keeper. It’s worth remembering that 67/68 we played 74 games. The keeper appearances were in that seasonJoe Andrews ...

Re: Those Were The Days; 3rd April 1961
I will have to go through my programs to check. But I would agree about the Stevens, From memory Brian Stevens left us and the following season Johnny Birch was keeper but he got injured playing just once and a certain young keeper from the reserves took over named Joe Andrews, the rest they say is ...

I was at this game, still got the programme. Croydon were one of the stronger teams in that league at the time.

Re: Worthing Away O1/04/2034
336 minutes, not including injury time. Since our last goal if my calculations are correct. A bit worrying! Not the best performance today. Very much 2nd best from us. On these numbers it is not surprising that we are struggling at this stage of the season. We have relied on Seymour to get goals an...

Re: Other NLS News
Weymouth-Yeovil game abandoned after 75 minutes with Weymouth still leading. Medical emergency involving Yeovil supporter needing the air ambulance to land on the pitch. [/quote] Yes saw that it’s the second game abandoned for this reason. In other news Mark Molesley has been appointed as Weymouth m...

Re: Worthing Away O1/04/2034
Another game with no goals scored. The loss of Fernandez who has been outstanding defender could be a major blow in these final matches. The next three home games two are against two teams at the bottom, one of which is already relegated. These are must win games. The other one Bath at home, will be...

Re: Worthing Away O1/04/2034
Agree about Seymour, with Pitblado on bench who will take the penalties!
