Re: Best player you've seen at the Beveree...
Yes think you are right about paying a small transfer fee for him, cause I thought it was strange as the club usually finished mid table every season, and there use to be less than 100 at most games if I remember right.I will never forgot in about 84 going to watch Arsenal v Tottenham in the morning a...

Re: Best player you've seen at the Beveree...
What about favourite player seen at the Beveree?I will probably spell the name of mine wrong he was a winger in the 80's Peter Shonaide. He was very quick and strong, but was never the same after an injury, but can't remember what the injury was.

Re: Best player you've seen at the Beveree...
I know you mean Hampton player, but the best overall player I've seen was Jimmy Greaves playing for Barnet against us in the FA CUP in 1977.We lost 2 1 our goal was scored by Alan Cooling our goalie with a long kick that bounced on the edge of the area and went in,and a newspaper photo of him was sho...

Re: Playoffs
Wonder where we would've been now if Ness had joined alot sooner instead of Donaldson being played out of position. We would've conceded alot less goals from crosses and Donaldson was missed on the left.I can see Ness playing for a higher level club than Charlton.

Wonder where we would be in the league at the moment if we had got Ness and Roberts in sooner and not had so many injuries.

Re: New Signings
He said In an interview after the game the first 2 signings are forwards, but he is after a 3rd player, so hopefully he is a centre back.

Re: Braintree home on Tuesday.
We are bottom of the form league and the bottom 2 teams have improved recently,so the way we are playing we could be in serious relegation trouble soon even though only 1 team goes down this season. We hardly look like scoring and everytime crosses come in the opposition look like scoring all the time.

Re: Hungerford away on Monday.
Still can't believe he turned down the chance to sign 2 players he said would've improved us.How many managers would think of the club future when they have been allowed to sign 2 better players.I wonder if that isn't helping the morale at the moment?
