Re: Club statement
What about Ian Dyer? Enjoyed a successful time here under Dowse and if I’m not mistaken managed our reserve side and then steeped up to 1st team coaching role with AD. Good coach and did ok when asked to take the reigns temporarily at Woking. Might want the chance to test himself now in a main job s...

Re: Hampton Mad / MK / Big Rich - Dedicated spelling and typos error thread
Rich, If there is a spare seat I’d certainly be happy to jump in? Not sure if MK is around but Mr B, HM, your good self and I can split the fuel costs. I don’t expect Jamie will be taking up the offer as he is a bit of a keyboard warrior. Quick to point out to everyone who cares to read his posts ho...

Re: Pre-Season
Oh my god, it's a good job some of you are in charge of generating income for the club. It's how you market things! Other clubs getting bumper crowds even when u23 games, putting on other entertainment on in and around the ground, making a day of it. The way you go on, it would be better to keep th...

Re: Staines Town
Matthew Boon didn’t have the same interest in the club that his late father had and was keen to unburden himself of the financial liability. I’m not sure the club would have been “sold” as there were no assets as far as I know. They were not to land or ground owner as that was sold to Downings many ...

Re: Standing in front of the side terrace
I stopped going when they fenced off the section between the two “dug outs”. It might seem petty but I liked standing there and seeing/hearing the two management teams during the game. I think it was supposed to be some sort of COVID measure. Probably a bit like closing bushey park to traffic

Re: 3 Loan Signings
Thought Gary said that anyone coming in would only do so if they would improve the existing squad (or words to that effect)? None have any track record at this level and 2 not good enough to feature in a struggling Woking team this season so pretty underwhelming on the face of it and would seem unli...

Thankfully the Club Car is restricted to 48mph with a trailing wind so no risk of further points penalties on this particular trip.

Re: Wimborne Town (home)
Am I incorrect in thinking that the away team are able to claim travel costs in the fa cup hence why most travel by coach to game rather than league fixtures where it is either club minibus or car share?
Anyway must be game on otherwise the club would have told us by now.

Re: Maidstone home today
Gary mentioned in his post match interview the need to bring in more players given the injury situation. We are currently missing Muir, Deadfield, Ruddick, Minhas now possibly Farrell. Uche is out on dual reg to get fitness. Others in the squad are carrying injuries. The bench yesterday once again ...
