Has the National League and The FA?
National League would not be involved in a name change. I got the impression from Middlesex FA it would need to go to them,

Re: Middlesex Senior Cup 2023/24 Draw

Not under current FA Rules at Step 2 although the request seems to need FA approval, I believe. I have no idea of what the decision making process would be at the FA. Dropping "Borough" might not seen as all that controversial. Something more radical might prompt a differing response but ...

Re: Name Change 1999

IMO, the key thing is that the fans have a say in any name change and it is not just done by stealth. If 'borough' is not valued as part of the name that could be a very quick process.

Re: Middlesex Senior Cup 2023/24 Draw

Tony wrote: Wed Aug 09, 2023 1:52 pm From what I can find, any change of name must be applied for under FA Rules by 31 December for the following season, subject to agreement by the FACouncil. So this would have had to been applied for by 31/12/22 to apply to this season.
Is any fan consulatation required for name changes ?

Re: New kits

Stefano Petruzzo reckons it is the best kit in English football  Might not be everyone's taste but I'd offer up the new William Morris inspired Walthamstow kit as something a bit more original

Re: Twitter

Always a bad idea to change club name, colours or badges without consulting fans. In fact, the government has announced plans in its recent White Paper for reforming football goverance including protection of club's cultural heritage. Specifically, under the proposals "The Regulator will requi...

Re: 23/24 League Predictions

We start with pretty much the same team as last season with the addition of Hall, Seymour and Bloomfield. As mentioned earlier Adrian Clifton was a massive player for us, the ball stuck to him and was a very good footballer. Let’s hope Bloomfield is a good replacement but it is a tough ask. Bloomfi...
