Re: Club statement

That’s correct. He didn’t rule them out but he did suggest they might not want to want to work with a limited budget either so let’s let Tony reply for himself Shep. Otherwise it’s all what if, possible and may be's and continued fence sitting.

Re: Club statement

Of course it will determine in which pool you may be casting your rod. But if I’m reading the thread correctly you are suggesting who might not be suitable and valid reasons why they may not be so but nothing slightly more positive. Come on Tony who would you like to see that you also consider a via...

Re: Club statement

What about Ian Dyer? Enjoyed a successful time here under Dowse and if I’m not mistaken managed our reserve side and then steeped up to 1st team coaching role with AD. Good coach and did ok when asked to take the reigns temporarily at Woking. Might want the chance to test himself now in a main job s...

Re: Hampton Mad / MK / Big Rich - Dedicated spelling and typos error thread

Rich, If there is a spare seat I’d certainly be happy to jump in? Not sure if MK is around but Mr B, HM, your good self and I can split the fuel costs. Re: Pre-Season

Oh my god, it's a good job some of you are in charge of generating income for the club. It's how you market things! Other clubs getting bumper crowds even when u23 games, putting on other entertainment on in and around the ground, making a day of it. The way you go on, it would be better to keep th...

Re: Staines Town

Matthew Boon didn’t have the same interest in the club that his late father had and was keen to unburden himself of the financial liability. I’m not sure the club would have been “sold” as there were no assets as far as I know. They were not to land or ground owner as that was sold to Downings many ...

Re: Standing in front of the side terrace

I stopped going when they fenced off the section between the two “dug outs”. It might seem petty but I liked standing there and seeing/hearing the two management teams during the game. I think it was supposed to be some sort of COVID measure. Probably a bit like closing bushey park to traffic 😂
