Re: Hendon away

Just as easy to pick up an injury in training.

Re: Hendon away

If only it was that easy. We are of course without Nathan Minhas who has been injured throughout pre season and so we have looked at a few trialists. I hear we might be close to signing one of them. The top and proven strikers come at a heavy price.

Re: Hendon away

Agree TW10, there are a number of trialists and Academy players who realistically are not going to feature during the season other than the odd minor cup game. Let’s see the final squad now playing out the final friendlies to see how they gel particularly now we have some injuries to contend with. R...

Re: Knaphill away

A rather too easy game for us. We scored a hatful and might have had a hatful more. I guess you can’t do to much more than that. Only three more friendlies left now so I hope we start to see the likely starting XI appear in those games and given a full run out. Still some injuries with Cox, Minhas a...

Re: Hendon away

Whilst pre season is more than about results, and the side that played last night is clearly not our starting XI, the lack of goals in pre season must be a concern. Five games and four goals, three of those coming in the QPR game, and not one goal against lower league opposition.

Re: AFC Wimbledon game

I believe Cox picked up an injury in training. Expect him to be first choice right back when he returns to fitness.

Re: AFC Wimbledon game

I believe Bowman is having a trial at a pro club, not sure about the other Covid victims. I like the the look of Slew (C) who showed good movement and took his goal well but wonder if he is the right partner for Muir. Are we looking for a big target man for Muir to play off? Trialist B also did well...

One for older supporters, Kingstonian forum reporting the death of Micky Cook who played for us in the early 1970s.

Re: Hanworth Villa away.

Again a mix of probables and possibles and a couple of trialists. Although we were the stronger side throughout we found it hard to break HV open, best effort being Daniel’s shot that hit the bar. Manager was clearly not happy at half time and not sure he would have been much happier at full time. N...

Re: Ascot away tonight.

You may have spotted Gary saying we are close to a loan signing but no details yet who or where from.
