Re: Worthing Away Boxing day.

This will be a difficult game, it might well depend on who is available, if the squad is still depleted and we are having to fill the bench with Academy players, then the task becomes that more difficult. With the return fixture in a week these results might well determine the course of the club ove...

Re: What happens next?

It’s still a bit too early to say but currently I would say Hungerford (although they too have picked up a bit), Chippenham, Slough and Cheshunt, despite their recent upturn in results. As for us, if we can get more fit players we should be ok . Think our new owners will increase the budget and be p...

Re: What happens next?

Recent improvement in results by Weymouth and Cheshunt have seen our position look that less comfortable.

Re: Friendly v Bedfont today

Looks like most of the squad had a run out. Final score 2-2 , we lead 2-0 but got pegged back for a draw.

Re: What happens next?

Dont Panic. We will get 40pts and stay up. And if we sack Gary who we going to get. Harper &Number 2. I don’t think so! We would look for someone who has experience at our level and above . The choice will be vital to the club’s future progress. However we are jumping the gun a bit, let’s give ...

Re: What happens next?

A fair summary Tony. From what I read and understand our new owners will not tolerate a relegation in their first season. The next few games may well decide how the manager situation will play out. As Tony stated . There are a few key issues. 1- The fitness of players and their return to form. 2- Th...

Re: News of former players

In my time information only became public like match reports when you read them in the local paper the next week! None of this internet stuff! Don’t think there was such a thing as player loans in the 60s. Players were ‘amateur ‘ so less likely to move during the season. Hampton had a very settled s...

Re: Friendly v Met Police.

Thanks Les.
Another defeat to a team below us in the football pyramid. It will of course, depend on what team we fielded. A full side would not have done much for the confidence going into two games against a strong Worthing side.
Might get more information later?
