Re: Next season promotions & relegations
Suspect relegation will be the bottom two clubs plus the club with the worst record across the two divisions. How that is worked out I don’t know but PPG must be the only fair way. I can’t see the league agreeing a formula where all three relegated teams could come from one division.

Re: News of former players
I see Charlie Fox who was with us a couple of seasons back has just been released by Bromley having made 12 appearances for them in the NL.

Re: Squad for 21/22 Season.
No great surprise that Ryan has returned. Proved himself a very decent player in the short time he was with us last season and is aiming to get himself back into the pro ranks. We could do with a midfield enforcer to support the attacking flair which we seem to have in abundance.

Re: Rest of the season?
I can’t see why NL clubs would vote to reduce their voting power which would inevitably end up with funding being redistributed towards NLN/S. Nor can I see the FA intervening to make changes. What sponsorship the NL can raise will largely depend on the larger clubs at NL level not the likes of us o...

Re: Rest of the season?
So the vote of no confidence in the league management board was 33 in favour, 29 against and 4 abstentions. So that’s not carried then. As you know the NLN and NLS only get 4 votes each and the NL, with 23 votes voted against. Do we carry on as before or will Mark Ives make any attempt to rebalance ...

Re: Squad for 21/22 Season.
I suspect many of the players who might get released are used to more generous contracts than we are likely to offer given many followed Doswell from Sutton. I wonder if some are getting a bit long in the tooth but think players like Bedsante Gomis was pretty decent.

Re: Concord Chairman steps down
Concord have appointed their U18s manager as new first team boss. Feels very much like the appointment you make when you don’t have much of a budget to offer. Clearly many better qualified or experienced managers out there.

Re: Concord Chairman steps down
That looks ominous for Concord. No manager or chairman. Bet the players are on the phone looking for a new club. Anyone decent there we might be interested in?

Concord Chairman steps down
Ant Smith, the Concord Rangers chairman, has stepped down. Whilst he says he will continue to support the club financially you have to wonder if this is the start of the slide back down the leagues for Concord. They are far from a well supported side and I guess their current position is largely dow...

Re: Squad for 21/22 Season.
I suspect Smith will not feature in our plans next season. Wassmer will get offers better than we can afford so will be up to him whether he wants to play for us or not.
