Indeed. This error on the part of Southwestern Railway is subject to various ongoing complaints and procedures and will hopefully be corrected in the medium term. The Middlesex Federation are not happy about it!

I did try and Google Cray Valley FC to find information on this other team (out of curiosity, as I had never heard of them!) but I could only find info on Cray Valley Paper Mills in the results. Are you sure there is another team, MK?

To be honest I read the email in the same way as Jamie, it is ambiguously worded and could be taken either way. In all fairness it probably does mean they are standing down and considering putting themselves forward in the same way as everyone else, but given recent history people will be suspicious...

I hope this is being recorded, as after the years of work the likes of Les, Chris, others and those before them, it would be a real shame if the record keeping doesn't continue. The Old Historian is very much still recording all of the stats, as am I. Stuart Moore is also doing this for the program...

One remark was that Bloomfield went to us for ‘big wages’ and looked disinterested whilst his replacement Pavey scored twice and has six goals in seven appearances. Time will tell who did the better business! I think the "big wages" rumour originates from one comment that Spencer Day made...
