I see Eastbourne Borough have announced they are close to selling majority control to a new investor. Eastbourne are currently a Community Interest Company. No details of who the investor is but hope to conclude by end of May.

I understand the league requires a plan B in case the pitch is not ready so a provisional arrangement to play home games away needs to be put in place. It would need to be, I believe, at a ground with the necessary ground grading for the NLS. Not sure where the nearest qualifying ground would be tho...

I see Met Police manager Gavin MacPherson have stepped down and is now looking for a new challenge. Did a very good job at Met Police and should be in demand.

Whittingham has signed. He got better under Mel playing further forward after a disappointing first half of the season.

I did hear earlier this season that Dartford’s board were not that keen to be promoted. There may be some private relief at going out on pens.

Retained and released lists are starting to filter through from last season's National League clubs now... so far Maidstone, Oldham, Solihull, Torquay, Scunthorpe and Barnet have announced them. Be interesting to see if any of the players from Barnet (Jamar Loza, Rob Hal, James Callan, Kian Flanaga...
