Re: Clubs in Crisis

Dartford won at Havant yesterday may well have condemned them to relegation. Taunton still have a lot of games to play, I don’t think other clubs will be as generous as us!

Re: Taunton here on Saturday.

Our current form suggest if we make the playoffs then we will be drawn away against one of the more fancied teams. The current squad is ok at our level but is not strong enough to get promotion and would struggle further up the pyramid as we see from the current National league table. Given that per...

Re: Taunton here on Saturday.

Have to agree a very poor game, we should have been out of sight by half time. Seymour got an opening goal and the partnership with Bloomfield looked promising. Donaldson missed a good chance , but then poor defending allowed an equaliser in first half injury time. The second half was poor as our vi...

Re: Clubs in Crisis

Possible hope for Eastbourne, Dartford, Taunton and even Havant? Whoever gets to the top relegation spot. A mini league!

Re: Those Were The Days; 3rd April 1961

Interesting to think back to those times and how the whole basis of football and non league has changed. When we went to a Richmond Road Kingstonian were a well established senior non league team that had recently been to Wembley for an Amateur Cup final (which I went to) . Now they have no ground, ...

Re: Worthing Away O1/04/2034

Perhaps for the new regime it has been a learning curve. For Mel too as he has not managed at this level before. For many of us we have watched many games at this level and over the years have seen players we would be very happy to have at Beveree. It might be a good question for Mel as to whom has ...

Re: Taunton here on Saturday.

Alfy Whittingham has been recalled and is available for selection tomorrow. Great news as I never understood the decision to loan him out in the first place. Havant have used him so he should be match fit and we will need all available players for the final push. Agree he is better than certain oth...

Having watched the highlights they gave Maidstone a hard game and the visitors were hanging on at the end. Be warned Hampton!

Re: Worthing Away O1/04/2034

On reflection on this game, Worthing have around five strikers in their squad all of whom are of Conference South standard which is in contrast to our squad. Their defence needed strengthening so they took a central defender from Tonbridge to address this problem. Perhaps we need to bear this in min...

Re: Taunton here on Saturday.

Knowing Mel he does not risk players who have a slight injury concern. Given that Dreyer was omitted against Worthing and Fernandez came off in that game both might be in doubt, we will wait and see.
Three points is essential in this game as has been mentioned already.
