Re: Knaphill away

Nice to see the goals fly in.But they were poor and gifted us goals..that said they probably had the best player on the pitch, very skilful quick lad in the 10 role. The young lad Hines never put a foot wrong for us but not really tested. Tony mentioned 3 friendlies left? Only Woking is listed? Awa...

Re: Crowds at friendlies

Will the Club make a statement about Wimbledon game. Or are they going to keep us guessing again. As Les said, the club would be making a statement on Wednesday. Which they have. https://www.hamptonfc.net/news/afc-wimbledon-h-tickets-on-sale-2632746.html Again, like Les, speaking as a volunteer, no...

Re: News of former players

Josh Casey surely also going to depart Woking for the same reason? Isn't he a stockbroker or something - no way Woking could replicate a city salary for National League football.

Re: Squad numbers

Hope it goes back to traditional. Absolutely no point having squad numbers unless players actually keep the same number every game. It also makes the match reports and record keeping inaccurate as the Pitchero website template doesn't allow it to be recorded accurately. They did last season didn't ...

Re: Sutton United

Sutton winning the National League after Barrow last season against all the ex league clubs shows money doesn't always buy success, and keeping 15 of last season's squad should give us an early advantage over big spenders like Dorking and Havant while they get use to playing together. It's an intere...

Re: Concord Chairman steps down

Mentioning Dorking, they are announcing four new signings this week , so the spending continues! Looks to be rumoured that Jack Turner, goalkeeper, from Slough is going there. Not sure if that means Sam Howes has left. Sam Howes was on the Dorking released list a few weeks ago. Along with (I think)...

Re: Squad for 21/22 Season.

What does our press team actually do...? 13 players have put pen to paper! It shouldn't take much much longer than ten minutes to write out and post a short report for the clubs long suffering supporters!!! MK Is that a joke? After the unbelievable effort from the Media Director and all the club's ...

Match Report vs Tonbridge Angels

Saturday saw a pretty convincing victory for Hampton & Richmond Borough over Tonbridge Angels in what could still (snow and vote depending) prove to be both sides' last match of the season. Once again I've tried to be as even handed as I can, but if anything the 3-0 scoreline flattered Tonbridge...
