Re: Concord Chairman steps down
That looks ominous for Concord. No manager or chairman. Bet the players are on the phone looking for a new club. Anyone decent there we might be interested in?

Concord Chairman steps down
Ant Smith, the Concord Rangers chairman, has stepped down. Whilst he says he will continue to support the club financially you have to wonder if this is the start of the slide back down the leagues for Concord. They are far from a well supported side and I guess their current position is largely dow...

Re: Squad for 21/22 Season.
I suspect Smith will not feature in our plans next season. Wassmer will get offers better than we can afford so will be up to him whether he wants to play for us or not.

Two names most obviously missing from the 13 are Cox and Wassmer.

Re: Squad for 21/22 Season.
13 re-signed and two from I am presuming the NL to be signed once their season is over. Gondoh? Vilhete? Some very positive mood music from Gary’s interview but the additional strengthening will be key. We weren’t quite strong enough to win the league last year and play offs is the more realistic ob...

Re: Squad for 21/22 Season.
I’d take Max K back certainly if he doesn’t go full time at Woking. I would be surprised if Casey and Cook went full time given their careers and bit have that extra experience at NL level.

Re: Gary McCann
Not sure what a three year contract really means these days. If the manager wants to leave for another club or the club wants to replace the manager due to poor results, the issue is what is the compensation to be paid. You don’t want to be in the position having to pay up a contract in full with a ...

Re: Rest of the season?
I think the plaque came before he joined the board ( he was then chairman of the FA). This will be covered in the new book but the idea was to use his contacts to help the club and a new business plan was written around that time. Nothing came of it though.

Re: Rest of the season?
His previous stay was only for one year. Not sure it ended in tears exactly. No reason was given publicly for him deciding to step down.

Re: Rest of the season?
He is going at the end of the season. Clearly would be useful to have on the board if both parties were interested but timing may be an issue. Leaving under something of a cloud I would say.

Re: Rest of the season?
Ollie Bayliss reporting that Brian Barwick may be stepping down as NL chairman. Token sacrifice or first of many?
