Re: Squad for 21/22 Season.

The three players Tony mentioned would be on my list. Max K does coaching at Woking, so it might not be possible. I know Casey has a good job outside football , he is very much a Dowse player, so it might depend on a compromise. Don’t know about Cook, so could not comment. Like all players it will d...

Re: Squad for 21/22 Season.

Would agree about Donaldson, did the list too quick! Agree about Gondoh and the others you mentioned. it might depend on where Gary feels the squad needs strengthening.

Squad for 21/22 Season.

Listening to Gary’s recent interview he indicated that he expects to sign on 14- 15 of last season’s squad and add 4-5 new players to fill roles that he feels need strengthening. He added that, of these recruits 2-3, are close to being announced and that squad make up details could be made over the ...

Re: Gary McCann

The points you make Tony are quite valid and we are not privy to the detail within the contract that might contain clauses that you mention. Notwithstanding this, it is a good move on the club’s behalf to get some continuity into the playing side of the club. Gary’s record suggests he is not a ‘club...

Re: Gary McCann

Agree with Lord E. Hoping the majority of the squad remain to give us a memorable centenary season. We all had to miss so much football in the last couple of seasons.

Gary McCann

Gary has signed a new three year contract which we all hope will give the club some stability and an opportunity to build upon the work so far.

Re: Pre-season schedule

Think most of us are looking forward to a measure of normality for next season. Think there might be some restrictions still, but to watch some live matches would be a great advantage. As has been already commented, a full pre season fixture list will be available soon. I note some clubs are releasi...

Re: News of former players

Dowse and his coaching team have just signed new two year contracts so that puts pay to some dissenting comments on their forum.
They are going full time and have reported got a bigger budget, so wonder if he will be shopping at Beveree!

Beveree work

I read and saw pictures of the replacement toilet work at Beveree, is this just the ladies block or will the gents block also get a concrete base? It’s about a year since we could attend a game, Maybe I missed it but there appears to be three portable toilets at the far and of the ground, are they t...

Re: News of former players

Chris Dickson scored the all important winning spot kick for Hornchurch as they beat Notts County 5-4 on penalties to set up a Final with Hereford who beat Woking 1-0. Dowson interview after the game. Sounds like he may walk. Well i hope he does not think he can walk back in here. Gary is doing a w...
