Re: Hanworth Villa away.
Gary sounded very unhappy with the players and felt some of them had let him down. Interesting to see how things go over the next few weeks as there could be some squad changes in the offering?

Hanworth Villa away.
Looking at the team sheet we are still looking at forwards which is understandable.
Last time I looked we were 1-0 down. Hope for better news soon.

Re: News of former players
For us old timers, Lance Wintle was at the game last Saturday. One of my favorites from my youth back in the 1960s.

From the internet, we have 3500 capacity and Dartford 4100.

Re: Crowds at friendlies
I saw that Dartford had in excess of 1000 for their game against Ipswich. Didn’t think their capacity is that much different to us. Wonder if their council is more accommodating than ours as regards to attendance numbers?

Re: QPR game
Agree an enjoyable game, as Gary pointed out a few errors caused in the main, by players getting used to a competitive game after such a long time inactive. Of the young players, was impressed by Jay Hines who looked very assured both at right back and when he played at centre back as a second half ...

Re: Ascot away tonight.
He did say he was looking at a couple of forwards, as we are down to one fit striker with Nathan injured. The loan might be a fall back position if the permanent one fail.

Re: Squad for 21/22 Season.
Listening to Gary’s comments following the Ascot game it appears that Minhas has an ankle injury which means we only have one fit striker. Gary wants a couple more players - assume strikers ! and has a loan agreed (Fisher?) Hope for some good news this week!

Ascot away tonight.
After what seems an eternity we have some live football this evening. As for the team, I would expect to see some trialists, plus a few first team players as well as some of the academy players. Looking forward to hearing the team news.

Re: News of former players
Alfie Pavey has joined Maidstone, they like a few other clubs are recruiting some useful players. Several clubs are ‘pushing the boat out’ as regards budget but not all will get promoted!
