Re: Macclesfield here.

It was always going to be a tough game but with a number of missing key players - Fernandez, Deadfield, Donaldson, and Seymour only fit to be on the bench- the task was that bit steeper. The game followed the pattern of Tuesday’s match against St Albans with the visitors having the better possession...

Re: Macclesfield here.

Losing 2-0. Some poor defending for both particularly the second from Inman. Close first half but once again we have conceded shortly after half time.

Re: Macclesfield here.

An interesting signing. 6’ 5” central midfielder which should provide the physical presence I think we sometimes miss in midfield. However, seems to have mainly been on the bench for much of this season with only 10 starts.

Re: St Albans here on Tuesday.

It was interesting watching the differing tactical approaches. St Albans always looked to stretch the play isolating our full backs and getting in behind. Very rarely a long forward pass. In two or three passes they switched play from wing to wing whilst we sat deep. In contrast we play very narrowl...

Re: St Albans here on Tuesday.

A point won but outplayed for much of the game by a good St Albans side. New loanee was disappointing. Few chances created but Hall came closest when his freekick hit the bar. Defence just about held out.

Re: St Albans here on Tuesday.

Just signed midfielder Charlie O’Connell from Peterborough on loan for a month. Could see him tonight and can play in the Trophy. In fact he starts tonight. No Seymour though.

Re: St Albans here on Tuesday.

From Mel’s comments this morning sounds as if we won’t risk Fernandez Tuesday and may have a couple of other injury doubts. Also looking to get further players in this week which makes the Whittingham loan look a little odd.

Re: Truro Home Saturday.

Dreyer did well on Saturday so might be more sensible not to risk Fernandez.

Re: St Albans here on Tuesday.

Just watched the highlights. St Albans hit the bar twice as well and had plenty of other chances. Looked very good particularly down their right hand side. Hard to say how bad Torquay were though.

They are also top of the form league, we are 16th.

Re: Truro Home Saturday.

An important three points today. The game totally changed after half time when we conceded a quick equaliser and had Donaldson red carded all within five minutes. We were totally on top first half taking the lead with a well worked goal from Fadahunsi after 13 mins but that proved to be our only sho...

Re: Welling away on Tuesday

Whittingham travels up from the south coast so Havant makes sense for him. Mel clearly cannot rate him or would surely have given him more minutes this season. Not sure he is a starter but did deserve more time than he got.

Re: Welling away on Tuesday

That is a poor result whichever way you look at it. I hope Mel doesn’t say they were a very good side ‘cause let’s face it they have been in the relegation places most of the season. Form beginning to take a turn in the wrong direction.
