Re: Worthing Away O1/04/2034
Well, no complaints there, because we were very much second best in all areas. Worthing are a very decent side who deserve to be up there but really it could well have been more than 2-0. Seymour is a major loss at the moment, anyone know when he's due back?

Re: Tonbridge Home Friday 3pm
Very disappointing display in front of such a big crowd. It was a big crowd but quite a lot weren't watching much. Re: Torquay away.
Well apart from a couple of half chances in the second half that was very poor against a pretty ordinary side.

Re: Torquay away.
Watching the livestream I thought the first half was poor. No real threat up front without either Seymour or the injury.prone Bloomfield.

Re: Those Were The Days; 13th March 1986
I was at this. Yet another Hampton side with some fine players in it, who somewhat underachieved in the league. The Sutton side was very strong and experienced so we did well to run them that close.

Totally agree. I wish we'd stick to this from now on.BeaverWatcher wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2024 10:30 am Last night was much closer to a traditional Hampton home kit and looked, in my opinion, much better than playing in blue at home.

Re: Aveley here on Saturday.
It is a lot lower than recently. Undoubtedly half term will have had some effect but perhaps the pizza brigade have lost interest a bit now the long unbeaten run is at an end?

Whilst I hesitate to give anything the Mail says any credibility whatsoever I can honestly say I have never heard any songs at the Bev referring to the Falklands. Anyone else?

Alec
According to Alec himself on Twitter/X he's been given a lifetime ban, home and away. Not sure how the away one is really enforceable but whatever has happened, that is a real shame.
