Re: Name Change 1999

IMO, the key thing is that the fans have a say in any name change and it is not just done by stealth. If 'borough' is not valued as part of the name that could be a very quick process.

Re: Middlesex Senior Cup 2023/24 Draw

Tony wrote: Wed Aug 09, 2023 1:52 pm From what I can find, any change of name must be applied for under FA Rules by 31 December for the following season, subject to agreement by the FACouncil. So this would have had to been applied for by 31/12/22 to apply to this season.
Is any fan consulatation required for name changes ?

Re: Twitter

It's all very well having generic hastags like #forwardtogether but actions speak louder than corporate slogans.

Re: Twitter

Someone seems pretty desperate to rid the club name of 'Borough'.

Re: New kits

Stefano Petruzzo reckons it is the best kit in English football  Might not be everyone's taste but I'd offer up the new William Morris inspired Walthamstow kit as something a bit more original

Unclear, but on Twitter it has been suggested we will play in all blue.

Re: 23/24 League Predictions

We start with pretty much the same team as last season with the addition of Hall, Seymour and Bloomfield. As mentioned earlier Adrian Clifton was a massive player for us, the ball stuck to him and was a very good footballer. Let’s hope Bloomfield is a good replacement but it is a tough ask. Bloomfi...

Re: 23/24 League Predictions

I'm not sure pre-season told us much. Although we should have more goal threat with Bloomfield and Seymour I am not sure either bring the hold up play and distribution of Clifton that IMO made a huge difference towards the end of last season. Vazagashvili looked useful in pre-season (though maybe no...

Re: Eastbourne away...first league game

Eastbourne have got new owners in the close season and reported to have gone full time. The bookies odds suggest they will be aiming for the playoffs. However, they only had 3 pre season games (plus one behind closed doors) so maybe a chance of catching them cold.
