Re: News of former players
Good for him, however as he came through our academy it would make sense to learn from this. Have clauses in the deals that when play x amount of games for first team it triggers a contract. Also that gives year options in the clubs favour. Need to protect the development work gone in for a number ...

Re: News of former players
Don't think Uche was on contract, no, but maybe someone can confirm? Very surprised to see that, to say the least... This is correct, Imran was a free agent as of the end of the season. Invited in for discussions (see Squad Update post on the website in May), but clearly took the opportunity to try...

Re: First friendly of the season.
Excellent commentary on Radio Beaver. Thanks guys. Pity we couldn’t hold out for the win. Several “new” players seemed to stand out. More on Tuesday. Really impressed with the commentary, especially as he was by the pitch and not in the stand, and on his own Great Commentary. Have fed this back to L...

Re: Pre-Season
Oh my god, it's a good job some of you are in charge of generating income for the club. It's how you market things! Other clubs getting bumper crowds even when u23 games, putting on other entertainment on in and around the ground, making a day of it. The way you go on, it would be better to keep th...

Re: New season fixtures
Away matches at Taunton, Bath, Hungerford and Eastbourne - all Tuesday nights, but more local away matches at Slough, Ebbsfleet, Dartford, Dulwich, all Saturdays - not good. Cheshunt away first game is boring. Dartford home last game is not ideal if we need points for anything. Worthing away Boxing...

Re: Pre-Season
I went to Plymouth Parkway vs Plymouth Argyle yesterday - 2,000 fans, Argyle brought on most of their first team in the second half. Parkway must have made an absolute killing on the match.

Re: Retained list.
There are always a number of players at pre-season (not just at Hampton, but at most clubs) who are there for fitness reasons only, because they know the manager or some of the players. Always difficult to read into signing intent based on who is in pre-season camps.

Re: Tommy Wood
have seen ferdinand play few times, no pace so can’t run in behind.. big lump with decent touch though. Happy not to sign him though Agreed. Obviously saying this he will now definitely score against us this season, but I would have been disappointed to see him wind up at the Bev. Much happier with...

Hi all, I don't usually post the match albums on here, but there are quite a few fan pics today so want to make sure as many people as possible who might be in them get a chance to see, and I know there are folks on here who don't use social media: https://www.hamptonfc.net/photos/hampton--richmond-...

Re: Billericay at home on Saturday.
I can see it being a draw. There's no real pressure on us and it will all be on Billericay. Difficult to predict really but any result that ends up sending Chelmsford down would do me as it's such an awful place to watch football! Not having to go to that ground next year would be the best possible...

Re: Standing in front of the side terrace
Even now? No idea I'm afraid, I just know that it was introduced everywhere during COVID. I'll keep an eye at away matches to see if it's still happening - I don't tend to go on that side of the pitch because most clubs are still not allowing photographers on the side with the dugouts. At Ebbsfleet...
