Re: Tonbridge on Tuesday.
We beat them 4-1 at their place in game #2 of the season but a lot has changed since then. I think a win is quite possible if we can play our passing game. A loss would drag us back into the thick of the relegation battle. Must be aiming for 50 points or thereabouts to reach safety.

Re: Dulwich at home on Saturday.
I think they click in immediately now so expect Inman to miss Tuesday. Davis is hopefully fit.

Re: Dulwich at home on Saturday.
Hopefully only a one game ban for Inman, not dangerous play.

Re: Dulwich at home on Saturday.
Not sure why we abandoned our passing game in the first half but it was pretty poor viewing with neither side able to assert themselves. Second half was much better with more chances being created until Clifton’s super strike gave us a deserved lead. Sub DavidFisher made it two cutting in from the r...

Re: Dulwich at home on Saturday.
At the club meeting Mel said we had used up 8 loans out of 12 and we have had 4 since then (.Jenkins counts as two not one) Jenkins, Coulthirst, Clifton and Fisher. May be a couple of the 8 were youth loans so not sure if that gives us any headroom.

Re: Dulwich at home on Saturday.
If that happens we could always find someone else but if not, suspect Mel would prefer to play others in preference to Wood anyway. Noticeably he was subbed at half time in a couple of games and others did not start at all. We looked better for it.

Re: Dulwich at home on Saturday.
Interesting logic. We release a player who we think isn't good enough for us but worry that he so much of a threat that he will score against us.

Re: 3G pitch approved
I don't think it will be anywhere near that cost. Lights are £100K (partly grant funded), pitch depending on what type we go for, £600-700K. There may be further development of the site but that would be subject to further planning permission. Nonetheless a considerable investment in the infrastruct...

Re: Dulwich at home on Saturday.
Clifton is only on a month’s loan, so may need some extra options. Wood’s departure no surprise. I think Gary McCann was close to moving him on back end of last year and Mel pretty quickly worked out he was not going to be the answer. A poor signing.

Re: Eastbourne (H)
Agree the switch to five at the back meant we lost midfield and encouraged Eastbourne forward. Until then they had hardly mounted a successful attack.
