Run in
Of our remaining nine fixtures we only have to play two sides in the top half, Farnborough and Dartford. Five are against sides below us. Football web pages predicted final table has us on 52 points (17th) with the last relegation place on 42 points. I suspect we would need to be over 45 points give...

Re: Cheshunt home on Tuesday
Great way to grab three vital points and thoroughly deserved on chances created. Cheshunt were largely shut out of it in the second half but must say I feared they might nick a streaky goal late on. Five points clear of the relegation places.

Re: Penalties
Correct it was Deadfield who missed. We would be safe by now!

Re: Penalties
Of course scoring the missed penalties may have turned the game in an entirely different direction. You could just as easily point to a missed shot, an unlucky deflection or a wrongly given offside. But more likely to turn a game in our favour I would think.

Re: Penalties
I make it 8 points ( +2 Bath 1-1, Wood missed; Worthing +3, 0-0, Vincent missed; Tonbridge 0-1 +3, Clifton and Wishart missed). That would have put us 14th on 46 points.

Penalties
I see that Farnborough have a similar problem to us with only four out of 12 pens scored this season. If we get one tonight against Cheshunt who takes it?

Re: Chelmsford home on Saturday.
Luke Jenkins recalled by AFCW. Guess we are happy that Jordan Thomas can fill that role and Crowhurst is I presume still with us.

Re: Chelmsford home on Saturday.
We are much improved but still only two points above the relegation positions with most teams below having games in hand. So no room for complacency.

Re: Chelmsford home on Saturday.
Well that was a hard watch! Chelmsford are a big powerful side who were always going to give us problems. However, their #5 very generously got himself two yellows inside the first 20 minutes for fouls on Clifton and upped the odds on us getting some valuable points. Very few chances for either side...

Re: National League streaming
It will be interesting to see if the viewer stats are published for the NLN/NLS games. There may be some initial novelty interest and I am sure the clubs involved will welcome the additional publicity.
