Re: Spelthorne
I was there, it was cold!! First goal was straight from KO, the ball hit the net in approx 30 seconds. Barzey played through to Robinson who slotted home from 15 yards. Second and third goals were both Uche headers from corners. Barzey grabbed the fourth with a tidy finish. Yes, Barzey played well a...

Re: News of former players
Recent friendly participant Connaugh Wilkes scored for Bedfont Sports yesterday, I see. And a further 'deep read' of this morning's NLP turned up Lewis Ferrell, now playing for AFC Dunstable in the Southern League (Step 4)!!

Re: Concord away today.
Strange to come away wondering how we didn't win, after being so well beaten for the first 45 minutes. A real game of two halves, but the second half performance was rousing, to say the least. No surprise at all that the excellent 'Beachboys' 'keeper (on loan from Watford) took all the post-match pl...

Re: New Centenary Kit
Yep, it's a thumbs up from me also. I was hoping for halves and the white shorts are a bonus as they set it off and keep it from being too dark.
Looking forward to seeing it on Saturday.

Re: Hanworth Villa away.
Just catching up with the forum, after watching the opening three friendlies. I read (somewhere on here) that Nathan Minhas is injured - shame, any specifics on that? Also, we haven't seen either Luke Ruddick or Jake Gray yet.....anybody with any information? I'll miss the next three friendlies, as ...

Re: Next season promotions & relegations
So studying the relegation issue, it's clear now that only three sides will be relegated from Step Two at the end of the coming season - wonder whether they'll have to invoke some kinda' PPG ruling to ensure the 'worst' three sides from step two are relegated, given the disparity in numbers. But pro...

Re: Next season promotions & relegations
Studying the relegation issue, it's understood now that only 3 teams will be relegated from Step Two at the end of the coming season, the odd number due to the fact we only have 21 teams in the South. Presumably a PPG sum will have to be done to ensure fairness is covered off and the 'worst' three s...

Re: Squad for 21/22 Season.
Listening to Gary’s recent interview he indicated that he expects to sign on 14- 15 of last season’s squad and add 4-5 new players to fill roles that he feels need strengthening. He added that, of these recruits 2-3, are close to being announced and that squad make up details could be made over the...

Pre-season schedule
Never before have I so eagerly anticipated the announcement of pre-season friendlies! So, Horsham FC announced yesterday that we travel to their new ground (3G surface) on Saturday, 24th July - unfortunately, I'll miss it as I'll be flying back from Inverness that day! However, my son and I did visi...

Re: Middlesex Senior Cup??
I agree 100% about the prospect of Premier League / Football League clubs helping out the non-league fraternity in the coming pre-season. It's not like those Clubs will be able to embark on there worthless tours of the USA and far-east, after all. Let's hope for some BIG PSFs at the Beveree with som...

Middlesex Senior Cup??
I believe the County FA is recommending that Clubs play this season's competition if possible...maybe much later as some kind of (pre) pre-season in late May, perhaps? I recall we drew Hayes & Yeading United away, so maybe a slim chance of getting a game or two in with some fans in attendance in...
