Re: Enfield Town (H) - 28th Sept

Enfield have the match highlights up too now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HA1krRNz61M
Plenty of highlights for us - not so many for them apart from the shot that hit both posts

Re: News of former players

I see the Oxford City statement says Sam and assistant Liam Badcock have gone - but doesn't mention Mel Gwinnett. I wonder if he is staying to assist Jenkins.

Re: The French Connection

Long post on LinkedIn from Rafa (posted Tuesday I think) which is probably worthy of being pasted here as there are some interesting comments: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7244275287574687745/ " Rafaele P. (Football Club Owner - The Real ‘Ted Lasso’ Team in Richmond, London | ...

Good quality highlights from Tonbridge up now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whWtjzM0L-s

Our first-half penalty claim not included. Their penalty looks like a shocking decision - terrible dive from Liam Vincent :x

Adam Desbois (finally) explains what's been going on with him https://x.com/ADZINHO_/status/1836812005325341059
ACL tear discovered needing surgery and resulting in the cancellation of his Eastbourne contract.

Hopefully he will make a full recovery and resume showcasing his mighty skills once again.

Re: FA cup 2q draw

Highlights are up on Stones TV. Pretty impressive production. As was noted earlier in the season, the Maidstone media output really is first-class. The video production and the commentary team are both excellent - a standard for others to aspire to. On a related note, I wasn't a fan of the switch ...

Re: The French Connection

"former club director and co-owner" I guess the "former" applies only to the "club director" part and not the "co-owner" part. It is a very strange comment to make though - just "co-owner" seems a much more natural thing to say but, perhaps, as it's on LinkedIn, someone felt it was important to ...

Despite that the hot dog guy was still replaced by a pricey pizza vendor the next season ;)

Re: News of former players

Lewes are his third club in this season alone, having joined Rayners Lane after leaving us. I wonder if it might be a different Josh Williams at Rayners Lane FC? It seems he came on as sub for Rayners Lane on 10 Aug when I'm pretty sure our former Josh Williams was on our bench that day. He also ...

Re: Other NLS News

Ha - At first I thought you had made that up ET, but I see now it does come from the Fair Game website. It would be interesting to know what data for us goes into that - possibly less reliable data than clubs that are formally signed up and/or higher up. Personally, I would have thought the ...

New social media output

I see the club has tweeted about some new YouTube output "Under The Stand" premiering at 6pm today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UP1m7q3yoVU Seb White talking to Jules and the Slough manager. Sounds interesting and more promising than some of the output last season (unless Jimmy Bullard is the ...
