Re: Squad change
Most responses to the Basingstoke tweet announcing this seem to say the same thing which is he was currently a leading contender for their player of the season. A good sign.

Re: Eastbourne away tonight.
Possibly the most worrying trend is 8 goals conceded in the last 3 games and wondering just how much we are missing Jack Taylor's quality. Hopefully fixtures against some less high-flying teams will allow us to string together some better results over the coming weeks.
Don’t know which position ...

Re: Eastbourne away tonight.
A tough run of games against Teams in the top 7 with much greater resources, experience and bigger squads than us. Playing Tuesday / Saturday / Tuesday with a smaller squad was always going to be hard.
To be 9th at this stage of the season is a fantastic achievement and no real reason to be ...

Re: St Albans away 1 February 2025
Does seem a strange postponement. Their pitch normally drains well as it is above the rest of the park. Last year was a downpour late on if I remember rightly. Wasn’t going to rain between inspection and ko so you imagine they were trying to not play the game if they could. At least it means we ...

Re: Weymouth home this evening
Just wondering how we currently compare to last season. After 28 games last season we had 46 points and plus 5 goal difference. This season 44 points and +11.

Re: Torquay United (A) - 25th Jan
I posed this question to a few people at the game last night, but was the crowd of 4,450 the biggest we have ever played in front of? Last season’s game at Yeovil was 3,388 and i can’t think of any other games? Can anyone confirm this?
I was thinking maybe Wimbledon away but they were not even ...

Re: New signing (sort of...)
Looks like he has been in England U20 squads, one up from Ted. So might have the same issue at international breaks.

A shame he has been recalled. Be interesting to see if Alan goes for another loan signing or a permanent one.

Re: New signing (sort of...)
A very busy 6 weeks coming up with 5 of the next 6 Tuesdays now having a game. Wouldn’t be a bad time to bring in some short term loans for this period. If no more postponements then we’ll play about a 1/4 of the season in that period.
