I wouldn't be surprised if we go left field with the appointment again, like with Gwinnett. Garrard would be a superb appointment.

In two minds about this, the unbeaten and FA trophy runs were superb, but the football was turgid towards the end and for all the brothers’ ambitions, play offs surely had to be seen as failure. Charlie Wassmer had an interesting evening for Gosport in their play-off semi-final against Salisbury, putting them ahead in the 71st minute, before giving away a penalty in the last minute of normal time which also saw him sent off. This was also the winning goal for Salisbury who won 2-1.

A statement on Dagenham’s website states National League clubs will be allowed to name seven substitutes from next season, and make up to five during a match.
