Re: 24/25 season ticket prices frozen...

I noticed that there some benefits like meeting the manager etc. It might be a little premature but dates would be helpful,to enable folk to put them in diaries. On this point I thought some of these extras were offered last season, but I don’t recall them taking place or is this my mind playing tri...

Re: Review of the Season

I will keep an eye on retained list of clubs in our league, national league and even in the league. In particular those players who have played under Paul Tisdale or Mel. As a reminder that’s why we got Seymour.

Re: Review of the Season

Looking at these assessments I think there is a measure of agreement from most of the contributors. As for the shopping list. A central defender preferably left sided would be ideal. If he could cover left back even better. Midfield does need revamp. As a Tony pointed out the need to introduce a fre...

Re: Review of the Season

Thanks Josh for a very comprehensive analysis of the squad. It will give us all material to comment on. The vast majority of your comments I would agree with. As he was the manager’s player of the year. I would expect Deadfield to remain.

Not what our old chairman would have wanted.

Re: Review of the Season

It is difficult to make suggestions if you do not know the budget! Mel saying 2-3 new players would fill many contributors with worries as looking at the present squad and what we consider required would be in excess of this. If we knew who was signed on for next season it might help, although certa...

Re: Those Were The Days; 21st April 2018

Admittedly there were some loan players in that team, but have to agree a much stronger and experienced team. If we are thinking of such a campaign next season then this is the type of player we need to be looking at.

Re: Review of the Season

Think I would agree with these comments. Would like to know who is signed up for next season. Would agree two or three new players would not in my book be sufficient.

Re: Review of the Season

Good review Tony, some food for thought there and perhaps it opens up some discussions on how we see the squad and club shaping up fo 24/25.

Re: Maidstone away.

unlikely as Paul Tisdale already occupies that role. [/quote] I think it is unlikely that there will be a change in this area. Paul Tisdale is a part owner but whether he would want to get involved on the day to day running is questionable. I can think of two managers, (one ex) who Mel knows from hi...
