Re: St. Albans, away...
You are assuming he wants to stay. If there is an even lower budget than the start of this year then he might have second thoughts.
You are correct, but if this is the reason he resigns then the club is very likely to be relegated and will start a downward spiral if no fresh investment . Think ...

Re: St. Albans, away...
To appoint a new manager would achieve nothing except a detrimental result. Julian took on the job, his first managerial appointment, and like anyone starting afresh, has a learning curve to achieve. If you talk to folk in the game who know a bit about football management, they all say that, given ...

Re: St. Albans, away...
Would agree with these points on media coverage, it would be helpful. However we are not good at this especially in recent times. Could it be that there has been cost cutting in this area?

Re: St. Albans, away...
The points raised by Hamptonlifer5 are very valid and echo many comments made by myself and others over recent weeks. Re: St. Albans, away...
Well that’s 9 defeats in 10 games with Maidstone at home then Worthing away to come. On current form it does not look good. Several theories as to the sudden fall off , finance must be high on the agenda?

A couple of changes with two forwards on for midfield players. Will this do the trick?

Re: St. Albans, away...
Not surprised given our lineup and recent scoring form. Anyone know what the story is with Roberts?Tony wrote: Tue Mar 18, 2025 8:13 pm 1-0 St Albans at HT. From Twitter feed seems as if haven’t managed a single effort on goal.

Re: St. Albans, away...
Team.
Berry Taylor, Jeffcott, Revan, Byrd, Atkinson, Keeya, Hunt, Edwards, Williams and Wiltshire
Bench
Page, Jalloh, Iaciofano, Allen and Siziba.
New keeper from Dulwich. Striking department looks a little thin!

Re: Salisbury away Saturday 3pm.
I think we all knew that many of the players were stepping up several levels. Results have exceeded expectations but now the loss of a few more experienced players has exposure them to the harsh realities of football at this level. Scoring is a problem with 5 goals in 6 games.Today we were without ...

Re: Salisbury away Saturday 3pm.
Yes I noticed that as well. Just wonder if there is something more happening at the club? Is it me or are we losing all the more experienced (expensive) players ?
