Re: New Manager
It is now apparent that a lot of money was spent on areas and overheads that could have been saved. Whether the brothers totally misjudged the task ahead and the relative strengths of our opponents as well as further up the pyramid is, to many of us, obvious. Perhaps they felt that they would come u...

Out of interest .
1-Does Luke Ruddick have any coaching qualifications?
2- What is this season’s training regime?

Re: Summer 2024 squad tracker
Looking at the league next season with only two promoted teams there are several ‘big fish’ going for it. Perhaps a lot of other teams are looking to ensure mid table status and doing enough to avoid relegation. If you analyse player movement so far this summer there is a surprising number of step 3...

Re: Summer 2024 squad tracker
Of those players left as unknown on the list , one would hope some will remain as we need them for their experience at our level. If we cannot keep all, my personal choice would be Anifowese, Dreyer, Revan, Thomas , possible Hunt and Dunne. I assume that Bloomfield will go.

Re: News of former players
Chesham like other teams have made several signings some from levels below. They did lose their top scorer to ? Hemel.

Re: Summer 2024 squad tracker
Re Seymour I noticed he mentioned Mel in his final goodbye. Think we all knew he was Mel’s player. At this rate we will soon not have enough players to field a team let alone 7 subs! Will any of these savings been invested in a few more experienced players or will we continue to recruit from a coupl...

Re: New Manager
Listening back on some of Mel’s remarks it would seem that it is most likely that Revan and Thomas were signed on for the 24/25. When Bloomfield was signed Spencer Day said Farnborough could not compete with our offer. It stands to reason that he too has another year on his contract. Mel tried to ge...

Re: New Manager
I suspect Tony is right.
What we were thinking about at the end of last season has drastically changed.. Ambition for next season is different. Further input of young players from levels below will not lift the feeling of foreboding.
Hopefully we might get some good news soon.

Re: New Manager
I have just watched this and Alan is enthusiastic. Several points Wall is target man and main striker so no Bloomfield or Seymour? Taylor at right back so no Thomas or Revan? Are we to assume that none of the last season squad will return? Relegation fear expressed on this form could be that closer?...
