Re: Summer 2024 squad tracker

No surprise there as we work through the contracted players. I think we can rate Ben as success in his short time with us. Always worked hard and scored a lot of penalties but perhaps not as many from free play as we might have hoped. I wonder if Jake Gray is feeling a bit lonely having decided to s...

Re: New Manager

Do we think Seymour and Bloomfield were signed on two year contracts? Maybe Jordan Thomas and Revan? If do their agents are desperately trying to get some club to match their wages so they can jump ship.. If budget rumours are true then we will be quite keen to see them jump ship as soon as possible.

Re: New Manager

I am more interested to see what happens when enthusiasm meets reality because no amount of enthusiasm will compensate if we go into the league with a very inexperienced side. At the moment we have only seven players confirmed so let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves. Lack of info on last season’...

Re: Summer 2024 squad tracker

Agree, FACup prize money won’t make much difference. A couple of wins won’t add up to more than £10K. Getting some decent loans will be key to bolstering the squad.

Re: Summer 2024 squad tracker

Keeya is from the Donovan Chislett connection having come through Met Police's youth system then taken to Enfield Town by Gavin McPherson and then on loan to Badshot Lea. Made 8 appearances for Enfield Town last season. Archie Taylor is also ex Met Police.

Nope, they are for now, unfortunately this is what a reduced budget of around 2k per week gets you…
Where are you getting that from?

Re: Summer 2024 squad tracker

Can’t see that Wiltshire played more than a couple of games last season. If he has a bad injury record we may well find that out in pre season. Feels a bit random but may be a story we don’t know. Hope we have alternatives under consideration. Alex Wall is not getting a good press either from suppor...

Re: Jacques is back!

Still no one has asked why Mel left and why so many board changes. Guess we’ll never know now.

Re: More Changes?

Are Ramayana's dreams of a Venture Capital FC over? Is it feasible that a return to the former board will work given that they were struggling to cover regular financial losses prior to the Ramayana take over? Are the Beaver's Trust in a position to offer an alternative Ownership proposition? Apolo...

Re: Summer 2024 squad tracker

Good news and slightly surprised that he has decided to stay given how many have decided to move on.

Re: New Manager

Not quite true. Paul Barry took over from Harper at the back of the 13/14 season and then had a decent season in tandem with Darren Powell in 14/15. They left in early 15/16 season after a poor start.
