Re: Club Statement 03/05/24
It’s when you hear things like that you realise what this regime is a bit ridiculous. Part of me wants them to fail. Not really a good thing to say.

Re: Club Statement 03/05/24
I’m surprised no one has heard anything about Mel’s departure perhaps via the players or groundstaff. The more i think the more i sense Mel walked because the brothers couldn’t deliver on their part. It could be a tough time for us if we indeed have to go “cold turkey” if the funding is no longer th...

Re: Club Statement 03/05/24
Re Hayden Bird, he hasn’t managed this level and he has only had limited success but his teams play very attractive football. K’s were excellent to watch a couple of years ago, remember watching then play Woking off the park in the FA Cup a couple of years ago .

Who wants the 3G surface anyway? The pitch is fantastic now, the best it’s ever been.

Re: Club Statement 03/05/24
Can anyone shed any light on the reasons why? Did Mel leave and if so why or was he sent packing by the brothers? I would bet on the latter. Forget missing out on the play offs, the style of football was awful to watch. Either way the club must put out a statement explaining why. I wonder if they ha...

Re: Review of the Season
For me Donaldson is a good left back but an ineffective wide midfield player as he has no real pace or creativity and carries no attacking threat. Which means we have 3 good left backs in Donaldson, Pitblado and Wishart. This is one of the clear imbalances in the squad. For me Wishart is easily the ...

Re: St Albans City away
I’m not sure leaving out Donaldson makes much difference. To my mind he just doesn’t carry a threat out wide, no pace & can’t beat a man. Mel has been cautious in his wide players by playing Donaldson and Gray out wide, notwithstanding they are decent players. For a while they have also looked j...
