Re: Heard on the Grapevine........
The pitch is so good the team would rather play the long ball in the air than build an attack by the short ball to a players feet. Hope the new manager who ever they will be has better tactics than the last one!

Re: Review of the Season
Can't understand why if I have read some fans comments correctly Hampton didn't play their best team in the closing stages of the season with the play-offs their for the taking. If it is true that the manager didn't play certain players because they won't be up for Monday morning training next seaso...

Re: Review of the Season
For most of the season Hampton played poorly but we're lucky in several games with late goals. Their league position was often better than their actual abilities. Re: Club Colours
The fact that Hampton changed their match day kit so often says a lot about the club and it's failure to reach the play-offs.

Re: Review of the Season
Hope the powers-that-be in the club read this report and then make a better go of putting out a Hampton team that will do the business week in, week out.

Re: Maidstone away.
When a side's form is as bad as this the board need to look for a new manager. Planning needs to start now for the new season by signing someone who can score goals a priority!

Re: Last match of the season - weird scenario
Of course every fan at the start of the season wants to see their team win the league and failing that get automatic promotion or win through the play-offs.

Re: St Albans City away
We may have missed our chance of promotion now so we need to start planning for next season. Obviously teams that want to move on start by sacking the manager. Now would be the time to look for one with the season nearly over. We need someone who is experienced in NL football and has his own contact...

Re: My Favourites
It may have been that well known Hampton player from the 1920's who appeared for the team in the South-West Middlesex League.
