Re: News of former players
Davide Rodari scored for Sutton. Astonished.
Serious question from a long distance supporter who's only seen 2 games live this season. Why does Rodari seem to attract such disparaging comments on this forum? He scored some very good goals at the start of the season. In view of our recent goal ...

Re: News of former players
But not half as incredible as Petruzzo Junior landing that job as General Manager of Olympique de Marseille Ladies Section on the grounds of his “transformation of Hampton & Richmond FC (sic)”. And, incredibly, they’ve still not sussed him out and he’s making appearances on mainstream French TV as a ...

Re: Tonbridge (H)
As for not taking on injury-prone players, I don't think we had much option. The Petruzzos held out so long before selling that players without injury records had already been snapped up by other clubs.
As for what's gone wrong, I do wonder if squad morale has taken a few knocks. The way the arrival ...

Westfield must have some strength in depth then as they also won 3-0 tonight at Littlehampton! What competition did you see them in, HM?HamptonMad wrote: Tue Oct 28, 2025 10:28 pm

Re: Derek Manning
Is there any player left from the pre 1959 period?
When I last spoke to Shirley at the Maidstone game last season, she said she was still in touch with Walter Lindsey who joined us from arch rivals Hanworth in the late 1950’s and carried on with us when we made the jump to Surrey Senior ...

Re: Derek Manning
Great memories of Derek playing centre-half on Hatherop Rec in the 1950’s. I didn’t realise he had lived to such a ripe old age. He must have been one of the last survivors from the teams of the 50’s. RIP

Goal of the Month
This is a very welcome addition to our Twitter account. Now I realise this is all about opinions but I’m amazed that our second goal v Dover did not even make the September shortlist. It was a fantastic team goal that started from our back line, Field did great to make space for himself, then put in ...

They have won 3/3 in the league, 3 rounds of the FA cup and a round in the trophy so will be no pushovers.
