Re: Taunton at home
Good post match interview with Mel. Thought the additional movement from midfield was a good tactic especially given the lack of recognised forwards. We did look good when me moved the ball around but Taunton also looked dangerous until they went down to 10. It was mentioned via the PA that last ni...

Re: Taunton at home
Been chucking it down over in Thames Ditton but it has stopped now...game must be in doubt though. Someone go over to the ground sharpish with a watering can, we could do with this being rescheduled for when our forwards are back!

Re: Farnborough here on Saturday.
Absolutely zero goal threat today. Never looked remotely like scoring at any time. Daniel Rowe started, who I honestly thought might have been discarded already but he is clearly a player from the division below. Another previously unnanounced signing (unless I missed it) who has apparently been loa...

Re: First Team Analyst
Haven't Brentford done something like this for a few years now, i.e. only signing players whose stats immediately match exactly their own statistical requirements? It's certainly worked for them but you would imagine it being much more difficult to achieve with non-league players where a bad day at ...

Re: Run in
We went there in the FA Trophy just a handful of years ago. Bigger ground for sure, if a bit characterless. We were comprehensivly outclassed on the day though.BevereeMaster wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 12:17 pm I’m hoping Yeovil get relegated, now that would be a nice ground to visit.

Re: Dover away on Saturday.
Couldn't go today due to illness but that is a great result. Really looking like safety is within our grasp now. Like others have said, it's good use of tactics, a bit of confidence and good use of a squad. Starting to get the feeling that next season could be quite exciting... My Lord. Man flu is ...

Re: Run in
I don't dislike any club in our league but if I had to make a choice it would come down to travelling distance and crowds. I wouldn't want to lose Dulwich's travelling support. I guess we wouldn't miss Hungerford or Concord. Taunton purely for the distance. Concord would be no major loss but Hunger...

Re: Cheshunt home on Tuesday
Serves Cheshunt right for playing for a point for most of the second half. Thought we battled hard and just about deserved it. Well done to all.

Re: Penalties
I make it 8 points ( +2 Bath 1-1, Wood missed; Worthing +3, 0-0, Vincent missed; Tonbridge 0-1 +3, Clifton and Wishart missed). That would have put us 14th on 46 points. The game doesn't stop if they score the penalty. Nothing to say it would then be the final score. Olympic level standard of pedan...
