Re: The French Connection
Have to say, I've learned a lot on here about selling yourself in the modern job market.

Re: Boreham Wood home
Best performance I've seen this season from us. Battling, as well as some nice, fluid football. Keep it up lads, we made Wood look pretty ordinary today.

Re: Weymouth away on Tuesday.
Well done, a win's a win and away from home too. Good to see, now hopefully we can build on this.

Re: FA cup 2q draw
That's easily the worst and most uninspiring draw we could have got. However...they aren't exactly setting the division alight are they?

Re: Worthing home
Thought the Ref turning down a clear penalty for us in the 2nd half was a bit of a turning point but we were a bit unlucky this afternoon.

Yes, I hope so too. I'm sure other people who had previous disagreements with the club are back, so I hope Alec is. He does a lot at both home and away games to get some atmosphere going.

Re: Bath City.
One down at HT. Thought we were playing well until they scored, in fact we were probably shading it with some nice approach play in the build ups. Could easily have been two up on good chances created, but a good piece of skill from Bath ended up in what seemed like a fairly clear cut pen and we ...

Re: Maidstone away
I think we'd all be very happy with a point from this wouldn't we? As long as we don't have an embarrassing capitulation like the last time we visited. The previous management should have hung their heads in shame after that run in.

Re: Summer 2024 squad tracker
Why do we persist with players who are obviously injury prone and and have been absent from the team for long periods of time. We are a small club so can't afford to be carrying players who will probably not play for us again. Do we never cancel any players contract? The answer to that is that ...

Re: Prediction time?
/quote] Clown of a manager? Wow. That's a very strange observation. A manager and owner, who started in parks football, getting the club all the way to the top tier of non league football (remember recently HRBFC had a 10-15 year plan to get to the Premier League!) Marc White may be outspoken and ...

Re: Pre season games
Looks like Barnet got a bunch of injuries yesterday and had to borrow an opponents player in the 2nd half to have 11 on the pitch. https://x.com/BarnetFC/status/1817209414111162738?s=19 https://x.com/BarnetFC/status/1817215628131844398?s=19 Weird they have such a small squad available. Surely they ...
