Re: Rayners Lane (A)
I guess we must have decided to finally test Ince in a low risk game. That is probably it for Ince I suspect. I understand that the injury was thought to be treatable but one appearance in two years rather suggests it wasn’t. With Atkinson back there seems little reason to continue the experiment ...

Re: Rayners Lane (A)
Can only think tonight might have been a last chance saloon thing. Shame, but if he's injured again then time to cut our losses.Josh2002 wrote: Tue Oct 14, 2025 8:33 pm Now 2-0 down. Re Ince, as harsh as it sounds, think it's time to get rid.

Re: Rayners Lane (A)
Ince is starting which is very interesting given he didn’t come on on Saturday. How long will he last? Atkinson, Allsop and Parkinson also start.
That's weird isn't it. When we were crying out for an experienced player to come on during Saturday's flat and lacklustre second half, Ince was left ...

Re: Eastleigh (H)
Agree re NPL, he's the one who can take players on and go past them though Jude Mason is solid and did well yesterday. We desperately need Atkinson in the side to provide bite and win tackles in the middle. Would have helped massively yesterday. Hopefully this frees up Gardener to get forward as ...

Re: Eastleigh (H)
Totally agree with Tony, a huge anti-climax. After their first goal we weren't the same side and they didn't need to be anywhere near their best to entirely snuff us out. Didn't think the officials did us many favours today but we can't blame the defeat on that.
It wasn't just the fact that they ...

Re: Eastleigh (H)
Thought we were looking really promising until they scored their first, but have looked distinctly second best since.

Awful day...bad journey, shocking pub beforehand, and a performance to forget. Thanks so much for the reminder Les!

Re: Other NLS News
Whatever ownership regime we've had at the top we've never really been a "sacking" club have we? Apart from when the Brothers got rid of of McCann, (as they were always going to) even at our most dire and without hope, we've given managers much longer than 10 games to turn it around. The Paul ...

Re: Other NLS News
Seems to be the trend across all leagues this season to give no time to managers to be “successful .” Eastbourne have a big budget and simply can’t afford to be languishing where they are but who wants to take the job now knowing you’ll get 10 games to prove yourself. All the more remarkable what ...

Re: 25/26 Squad
Don't like Baller League at all. Don't think Eddie is up to much with us either. But it fits him because he has a humongous ego! Shouldn't be anywhere near Baller League as a step 2 footballer in my opinion. Other names in there, Gondoh, Bassett yep all fits, see above, same as Allsopp.
It's a ...

Lost 3-2, couldn't make it today, looking forward to people's observations but it sounds like a bit of a poor result.
